1-on-1 training

made with you in mind

where modifications are the norm

whether you’re trying to get your first push up or learning to listen to your body,

options are my love language.

Through 45-minute sessions, we’ll work 1-on-1 to check in with how your body is feeling, warm up, and go from there. I bring the plan; you bring yourself.

Whether we need to change the reps + sets, switch out an exercise that feels better, or pivot to another activity entirely – we’ll co-create what you need for your here-and-now body.

apply for 1-on-1 training if you want to:

  • learn how to listen to your body

  • prioritize how you feel over how you look

  • start moving safely + sustainably

  • get stronger + more active along the way

  • need a personalized approach

My biggest "aha" moment so far has been realizing that my form is not as bad as I thought it was! I'm always focusing on what I'm doing wrong, and being able to see everything I'm doing right has been really helpful. This work is perfect for anyone who is done with the BS of diet culture and wants to focus on getting strong while also honoring the limits of their unique body.

learn to trust yourself again

Diet culture tells us that we need to be fixed with another supplement, another program, another diet.

Through our sessions together, I want you to gain the experience, mindset, and education so you can feel confident to graduate from personal training!

Of course, we can keep working together because you enjoy it, not because you NEED it. By learning what your body wants + needs to feel good during our personal training sessions, you’ll be able to apply that on your own time too — and start to trust yourself.

FAQ

  • An initial commitment of 3 months, with a month-to-month option afterwards. Instead of a quick fix mentality, we’re creating a plan together for a sustainable movement practice — learning skills, exploring a flexible mindset, and getting to know how your body works.

  • When you submit your application, it’ll be reviewed within 3-5 business days. If we’re a good fit, you’ll receive an email to let you know that you’ve either been accepted to an open spot or put on the 1:1 waitlist. If we aren’t a good fit at this time, I’ll be happy to refer you to someone else or provide some resources to get you started.

Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive a link to schedule your first session, the Welcome Session, where we’ll go through your goals/intentions, health/movement history, current lifestyle, and any other considerations. This will help guide the type of activity (strength, conditioning, flexibility, fun movement, etc.) and intensity of your sessions to meet you where you’re at while getting you closer to your goals — even if that goal is simply to enjoy movement more!

  • You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled session at no cost, depending on mutual availability. If you need to cancel less than 24 hours in advance, this is a late cancellation. No shows are not available for refunds or rescheduling. If you are more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled session, this is also late cancellation. Each client has 1 late cancellation that they can reschedule per quarter (think of it as a freebie for when life happens!).

If I am more than 10 minutes late, I will give you an extra session :)

If I am less than 10 minutes late, we will make up this time at the end.

If I need to reschedule less than 24 hours in advance, it is on me to figure out a mutually agreeable time.

  • No refunds are issued for the initial 3-month period. After that, payments are no-commitment monthly auto drafts -- you can cancel anytime before the date (at least 7 days in advance) of your next auto draft payment by contacting me through email at thenondiettrainer@gmail.com.

  • If virtual: we’ll work with what you’ve got! Ideally, have enough space to lie down + stand up + comfortable clothes to move in. As you progress, I’m happy to suggest weights, bands, and other equipment!

If in-person: Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes + shoes! Consider having some of the above if we need to switch to a virtual session.

  • TrueCoach is a free personalized fitness app (Apple/Android/desktop) where you can see the workouts you’ve done, communicate with your coach, and track your functional progress over time. This is what we’ll be using for the Self-Starter subscription!
